Did anyone see the start/resumption of the AFL season last week?

Believe it or not, but the black lives matter has made it to Australia...

Both sides and the referees (in the yellow/green t-shirts) - Every team in every game. With a dash of social distancing thrown in...what an historic picture.

--they have no idea what they are protesting for....they are thinking with their feelings and emotions--not their brains....people in America do not know the truth--only what they see on MSM..so, without a doubt, people in Australia don't know what the real facts are in the US
..if you would like, I can give you the truth.....it might take about 3 posts, maybe....there is so much evidence that BLM is full of hypocrisy and lies ...
..I've been given the go ahead by staff to give the truth...so I will state facts---not hate/etc
..some people think stating facts is hate---hahahahahaha...my facts will be from unbiased sources----not the MSM

There is an element of this in Australia with our Indigenous...this is another (misguided) attempt at social engineering/virtue signalling by the AFL IMO...in short, a business decision.
Personally I would prefer a new thread if this subject is to continue...this is a fine NFL thread by popsicle...

thanks ace...ive had it with the nfl.
someone should come along and start another league.
new hires would require a security check. any convictions or weird social media posts / past history would prevent hire.
    no union.
the nfl players currently ineligible could always find related employment. lol.
id rather watch jr football than give another minute or penny to the nfl.
    goodbye nfl.
    reason:
    Drew Brees.
what they made him do should be a lesson to us all.
he is one of the only good things in the league.
Drew should be honorary president of new league.

    doh
a new league is not crazy talk.
watch...the nfl will suffer its worst season next time it opens.
    stadiums will be empty.
i suspect the nba will suffer too.
    baseball is questionable.

there was a time when the cfl was great.
i knew eveŕy player on the eskimo roster. for years.
    then things changed.
they brought in a continuous list of foreigners.
guys who would only play 1 year.
messed up the family feel of cfl.
cfl is a joke to me now.

..there is not a problem of police brutality --plain and simple--do I need to give the numbers?..what they are doing is concentrating on a non-critical '''problem''[ police brutality ] and not the real problems--so!!! = they never solve their problems

I think Belasar was ribbing Poppy (as he often does) about the new Drew Brees Football League (the DBFL). :) :football:

Please cite case law where the passing of a counterfeit 20 is punishable by immediate application of the death penalty.

Dear me! Is that what he said? I've not seen anyone that defended the actions of the Minneapolis officer.

I think he's referring to overall statistics with respect to police interactions. Not all (TM).

I like the Poppy vs Belasar ongoing friendly grudge match. You guys add character to the place, and the odd broken chair. :)

a ridiculous and very easily to prove wrong reply
--everything was fine until he resisted and attacked the cop
..just like Mike Brown--attacking a cop...attacking and resisting is a serious crime
hahahahaha--I've got so much evidence--I don't know where to start
remember, the US has one of the highest gun ownership rates
there are 10 MILLION arrests per year
there are about 30 MILLION calls for police assistance per year
there are MILLIONS of police contacts with civilians [ 50 million ]
..this is not counting traffic stops-
--and how many unjustified/without-a-doubt manslaughter/murder deaths by police?? 3, 10? let's go high and say 20
....using the smaller amount of 10 million, that's 1 death for every 500,000 arrests...lets cut that in half for all forms of police brutality--cut out 250,000
    = that's 1 ''''brutality'' for every 250,000 arrests--not even counting MILLIONS of traffic stops/police contacts/etc
1 in 250,000 is not a problem [ if my math is correct ]
when a group murders at FOUR times the rate, that's the problem

I have so many facts - truth- that will blow everyone's mind= because they listen to the MSM and don't do a basic research:
...look at the numbers in the quote---blacks are only 13% of the population!!! the blacks commit crime at much, much higher rates..blacks are NOT killed by police at a higher rate
    and it all crosschecks--Eric Garner --30 arrests--30!!
Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) - Contacts Between Police and the Public, 2015
USA - number of arrests for all offenses 1990-2018 | Statista
much more truth and evidence to come, if you want it
..and there is much more to add to crosscheck the facts in this post
    gota go now--
caps and bold for emphasis only

My uncle needed. to sleep with a gun handy when he was tasked by the company he worked for in 1960 to hire black workers. We've come a ways but have a long way to go. FWIW, a fellow from Mexico told me he was warned by a black neighbor not to move to Lilly white Seattle because it was so prejudiced against people of color. When I was asked to speak at the grave dedication of a Native American FSSF member, I made it a point to take a knee at his new marker. A military gesture to honor the fallen.

I've got to be honest here. This style of arguing is the reason why the internet sucks.

I've said this to you before, and I'll say it again: Stick. To. Battleships.

You are just full of fun anecdotes about racism in your family. I must admit seeing you constantly bang on about this given everyone great insight into the SJW mind.
