http://www.pewtrusts.org/~/media/legacy/uploadedfiles/pcs_assets/2012/pewupgradingvoterregistrationpdf.pdf Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate. More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters. Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.
Why yes. I'm registered in two states having moved from east to west coast. However, an inaccurate voter registration role does not equal voter fraud. 24 million did not vote illegally. 2.75 million did not vote in one state and then go to another state to vote. I suspect that Stein's recount will find clerical errors which do not change the result at all.
Most people in NA probably don't know aboot the D and V...Not the youngs, anyhoo...Soccer may have had slightly higher viewer ratings than women's basketball here. Wonder how D and V voted, regarding Brexit
....first, I was searching for famous quotes..I'd like to make a thread, if there isn't one, on that--sooooo-I was not searching or looking for racial/etc threads...this popped up in the search..so don't go there ..here we have another issue of lies/myths/injustice ....I provide facts and truth--not hate or racism 1. there is NO PROOF of anything racial about voting/whites/race/etc--which is 99% true of all anti-white stories in the news look at the title!!: I '''''think''''....hahahhaha = no proof at all..no links/etc--just babble opinions ..not scared--but common sense/etc...they always use the word ''scared''' --hahahhaha 2. if anything, the blacks vote based on race only--not whites---in the US or UK here's undeniable, unbiased proof: The Elephant in the Exit Poll Results: Most White Women Supported Romney | HuffPost caps and bold for emphasis only
I'm going to let this go for now, but I see a low probability of this thread ending well. As you post, please visualize my my mouse cursor hovering over the 'thread ban' option in your profiles.
What is amusing (frightening?) about the Huff article is that the title was "tongue in cheeck" click bait (that worked) The the actual conclusion was that the stats of WW for Romney were easy to be misinterpreted. Conclusion was that women of color overwhelmingly voted for Obama, skewing the statistical value of the WW vote if taken alone. Statistics was the last college subject I flunked but the class that has proven the most useful in daily life. I learned that social statistical results are never "The Answer". Social Statistical numbers are useless without methodology and then, only point to where the questioning starts.
I just read the article. Is it "frightening"? It gives stats on the demography of voters in the 2012 Romney vs Obama election. Several groups took exit polls. Of the voters who were white women who answered the pollsters, 56% voted for Romney & 42% voted Obama. Minority female voters skewed the overall women's vote to Obama. What's to understand?
What are you talking about? The article states that during the 2012 US Presidential election, 56% of white women voted for Romney, 42% of white women voted Obama. This is simply data. That are you saying is skewed here?
I'm not sure I see the wisdom of questioning the patriotism of someone positing its a good thing for all who can vote legally should vote. The founding principal of any healthy democracy is the willingness of its population to settle its differences in the ballot box, not the battlefield.
I didn't address voting in any way. Thanks though. I don't think it's at all out of bounds to question someone's patriotism who calls a WWII veteran who served honorably a "terrorist". Or do you agree with him on this point?
