I would have thought you mob have plenty to be thankful for...you are still alive, with Mr T going America's reputation has already notched upward a few points, and as Biden has said "It's time for America to sit at the head of the table again" in the world. I know you mob have plenty of domestic issues...I also know you have the brains and skill to work that $hit out... Australia will be thankful we are still great mates. (Last time Biden was in Australia, he had a lot of good things to say about us...we remember him).
Oh there are things to be thankful for to be sure, .............. I just deleted a paragraph (or two) after realizing I was beginning to carry on as if I was a talking-head on some ratings craving ............ there I go again. You're right CAC, things are on the upswing.
I did the usual Thanksgiving night thing and watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles (again) for the umpteenth time.
My doctor said I had 6 months. Now he says I have 2 years. I wanto to share it with you llke it or not. I recall the "I might be dying but....." was somewhere else but I cannot rememeber. Anybody recall the book or quote? thanx!
I'll admit I don't like it at all. I'm a big believer in thinking positive when things kick you in the gonads. Not that I usually follow my own advice. Sending you positive vibes Kai !
"The nose of God" During overtime the goal https://twitter.com/i/status/1333885305200529408 Scotland ladies vs Finnish ladies 0-1.
For our men in 1997 Hungary in a ping pong ball levelled 1-1 during the last minutes and we lost the game. This is and was the usual Finnish ending. You must see it on youtube it is so old (1997). Anyway, no problem otherwise watching it.
"While the northern hemisphere — we're looking at you, Iceland, Norway and friends — may have a monopoly on the northern lights, there is no need to travel all that way if seeing the aurora phenomena is on your bucket list. We have the southern lights, otherwise known as aurora australis, right here in our own backyard." - ABC Thought you northern hemisphere mob would appreciate a bit of Southern lights... These seen and photographed from Tasmania...Just one more reason to visit the apple isle...

Was doing some research on Australian Dingos - I have a black and tan Dingo called "Dotty" - And discovered something I didn't know... Dotty my Australian Dingo looks almost identical to this Dingo And a mob of them... NOW Have you heard of the Carolina Dog? Look a these beautiful examples... "Carolina dogs are descended from the canines that accompanied the Paleo-Indians who traveled from Asia to North America over the Bering land bridge. Today, they can still be found living wild near the Georgia-South Carolina border, but have also been seen as far north as Ohio and Pennsylvania and as far west as Arizona; rural areas are the common denominator. The typical Carolina dog has pointed ears, a fox-like snout and a tail that curves like a fishhook when it is raised. They look similar to Australian Dingoes but, taxonomically, they fall under canis familiaris. Hesitant with strangers, they will sound the alarm when unaware of who’s at the door, but once they see their people, they are ecstatic. Carolina Dogs have an extreme pack mentality, as this was a necessity for survival in the wild." Canis Familiaris is basically a dog...Dingos were classed as this until full DNA tesing was done, they are their own breed - "Over many years, dingoes have been called many scientific names: Canis lupus dingo (a subspecies of the wolf), Canis familiaris (a domestic dog), and Canis dingo (its own species within the genus Canis)." Who knew about these critters?
They started giving the corona vaccine in the UK a couple of days ago. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the world follow soon. In Russia the vaccination was started a couple of weeks ago but no better details or clinical tests are not known of the "Sputnik" to my knowledge. Putin did not take it though.
Australia can afford to wait until march before we start our vaccinations...we want to see the good and the bad first. We have started letting in people from overseas via planes...and they are bringing the virus with them...bloody bloody...so far we have caught all of them, but I still think it's a dumb idea. Not wanting to point the finger but India seems to be a popular place for the virus...we should close our country to any country consistently bringing the virus over here IMO.

I’ll take the vaccine as soon as I can get it. The wife too. 75 and 70. The daughter-in-law will get it first at 48, as she is a physician. We have all the major chains of drug stores here as well as private ones. Time will tell.
