Soccer is good for you....the photos are not mine but they show what I went through.... Both leg bones broken in my left leg... total hip replacement....
Unfortunately tacklng is dangerous. If anything, I am happy bones broke, not any tendons in my knees or elsewhere. However, I always returned to play the game after recovering, and I did not get any money for it.
We had a black beret hanging in our bar, the competition as it were. Friendly rivalry as it were. We had call on their "battleships" when needed and available. They could count on a shit load of boats steaming downriver to assist when the "Vigoro hits the Mixmaster."
Got my home physical therapy eval, the guy said I have good upper body strength and my leg muscles are pretty good but my hamstrings are tight and have to stretch them back out. Start my home sessions next week twice a week for three weeks then another evaluation. Been doing my stretch exercises but it's just taking so long, hope I'm on one of my legs by thanksgiving. Got a new phone hope to post some of my model projects soon. Hope everyone is healthy and safe and let's hope this covid thing is under control by the end of the year and eradicated by next year I really want this over worry about my young grand nephews and grand niece.
Asteroid that wiped out dinosaurs shaped fortunes of snakes Asteroid that wiped out dinosaurs shaped fortunes of snakes But scientists say a handful of surviving snake species were able to thrive in a post-apocalyptic world by hiding underground and going long periods without food. They are excellent to keep your pulse over 60. I have put some 600 pacemakers, the biggest problem usually being how good your veins are. If they are small, then it will be tricky to put the wires in the veins and inside your heart. Usually takes 1-2 hrs. Always felt when the patient had a pulse 20+ and then it was 60+, like Jesus saying "take your bed and go." And the patient left the operating room walking on his own without collapsing.
Three uncles had em in their late 60's - 70's, two followed doctors recommendations and live a couple decades. One followed his own inclination - passed a few years later. Be well my friend !
Soccer, hmmm.... I notice you're not very much a fan of Paavo Nurmi. My pick for the greatest Finn who ever lived.
Sorry Youre wrong he' s the greastest but Lasse Viren won even by falling down during the race. It must be due to age-I was a teenager when Lasse ran- and Nykänen jumped skis...
