I suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling AA...then DL and install the patches in order. This should result in your checksum (those 4 letters) as being GKCW. Thats what I did and it solved the problem. You prob have a different checksum if you had HOI II and dl patches for that before you got AA. Anyways..look on the Paradox Forums for help if that doesnt work.

I didn't DL anything for HOI II, BUT I can not uninstall my AA as a freind of mine downloaded it onto my computer...but now he's forgotton his username and password for the website. (Sh!t)

Not sure - maybe? I'm no expert as far as things like that go.

But...i'd delete them from the folder then download the latest patch. Hopefully that fixes it?

Well if you have any Mods installed, then you will have a different Checksum. Can't help you out there.

In future, always copy the original game files into a separate place so that it is easy to revert back to the original.

EDIT-to sort this out once and for all, I just baught the whole set of HOI II on Amazon. Then I can do stuff without fear of loosing my game.

Actually in that game Soudi Arabia was my ALLY! My goal for that game was to expand S.Arabia greatly. And it workied! they had control over the whole of the middle east. Then I altered the game files and had to uninstall the game.

And YE is still a con.

Listen, this is a thread about HOI, not about my dislike for you're little club, woops! I meant organization.

Why would my Riech that had conquered the whole of Europe, including Britian, loose vs S.A? And having S.A as a freind is a very good thing-oil.
Anyway, on my other game (on my other computer), As I am freindly with America and Russia, I have unheard of amounts of oil. I have like 200+ coming in!
