Anyone know any good sites where I can find pictures of the Panther 2?
I want to build three for my wargames army as we have decided to extend the war into 1946, and those JSIII are really annoying me!!!
Also any other good pics or drawings of other German experimental designs?
Cheers Guys.

Cheers for those Kai, are there any pics of the Panther 2 turret on a chassis?
Was the hull redesigned? Looks more like the Tiger II.
If I build the models would I get away with using Panther hulls and building new turrets for them?

Hi!
I think the hull´s dimensions are much the same except stronger, side hull 60 mm and frontal armor 100 mm. There was only one Panther II, with the old turret so the new one was never tested. In spring 1944 the new panther 2 was decided not to be mass produced instead more reliable panther I´s were built.
New 75 mm gun was used.
I think you should use the old dimensions, stronger hull, new turret, and new 75 mm gun. You should though remember that the panther II is heavier and also slower!

Geez... those line drawings of the PantherII with the 88 L/100 gun are ridiculous! That gun is WAY too long! Can you imagine trying to maneuver that thing in anything other than open fields?
Longer guns were definetely better, but that one seems to be overkill!

Oh... those new prototypes annoy me... They're too ugly for me... Well, that's me...
