Hi Erich,
Pretty far away from home, wasn't he!?
If MIA around Vlissingen: Probably somewhere in the North Sea or Westerschelde. Many planes went down in that waterway. Will do my best but digging there will prove challenging.
Hope to speak to you on this one soon.
Stevin

G'day Erich
Found a site of the Dutch aircraft Archeology Group. Your second Ju at Barendrecht was excavated in 1968 by the Dutch airforce and one MIA was recovered then. Have a look at
www.a1.nl/nfla/nfla~gb.html
Give's an Acrobat list of all excavations, maybe you could get some btter answers through them. And of cource the site also available in English.

G'day Erich
The Royal Dutch Airforce did the excavation in 1968. The list you can look up "All excavations in the Netherlands" and download the NFLA RECOVERY LIST. Page 2 in 1968 has your a/c mentioned. If I were you I would surely aks the .web.master jmanrho if he can give you some more info on where to look further. Be sure to let us know.

Excellent I will do that.....thank you !
one other question about another Ju 88G-6 found at Laren/Lochem and remains in the Luftmuseum ? Tried to look at their site with pics but the pics did not come up. Is the a/c shown possibly ?, and most likely I will have to write them at their postal adresse for more info I presume ? Since my Dutch is non-existant I will have to call upon some of my Dutch friends from this forum.....eh

G'day Erich
English is becoming a sort of second language oin Holland, so if you write your letter in English it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It polishes their ego if someone important want to know about their work and they will help you as much a they can and show off their English. And of course if they cant help us Dutchies on the forum will surely help. You know where to find us.
