Does he have the right to do so ? i can tell you first hand what it is like to be shot at ......in 1980 in Israel, hiding in a travel bus, and there is bloody nothing you can do, and nowhere to hide. My prayers go out to the families and all the innocents killed today, and dang it all, it isn't going to be over either.

Dear Erich, I do feel for you. I was in Germany-Heidelberg to be exact, when some of those cowardly B astards, attacked the USS Cole. I cried with anger and grief. I am crying now today for all those victims and their combined families and friends. I too know more than one person who works at the World Trade Center, and I am VERY worried.

Tomorrow I'm gonna do everything I can to give blood. Since I'm only 15 I hope to god they let me donate some blood.

Also today I was taking to my mother about there every being a war and she said she would send me to Cananda. I was appalled by this and stated that I would never leave my country like some Pu*** for Cananda or any country. This day has shocked my in so many ways that I feel weak. At this point when I turn on CNN and see them showing new york I break down because it hurts so bad and there is hardly anything I can do. I feel so helpless because I could've been in that situation and there would have been nothing I could've done. I hope to god that when they get who ever did this and I know they will. That they make them suffer worse then can ever be imaged because they have made this country suffer more today then it evershould have in its history.

i've watched the news since 10:30 this morning and it never fails to shock me when i watch that plane hit the building...and when i watch huge landmarks of my country desintegrate into oblivian.....i am just appalled and shocked ............just shock...........

I want to add my condolences, I only just learned my uncle was not there, we thought he was. I suggest that if you cant rais a flag you wear a black tie or badge or whatever to show your respect, that is what I am doing.

As a Brit'-I cannot express my sadness at the cowardly attack on your home country.I think I speak for most of us in the UK when I say my thoughts are with your kinsmen.

I will be wearing some American themed hatpins at work today which includes our colors and the Confederate colors and the state of Texas colors. I might even throw in the Union Jack hatpin I have, as a way of thanking out British and U.K. and European friends for their support.

This attack is very close to home for me. NYC is about 1 hr East of me and i know people who can see the skyline from their houses. My dad lost lots of colleahues - he has tried contacting them to no avail - int he WTC's, where he used to work. Another thing, the most striking, is my next door neighbour. Her son saved her life.

She is a pilot for United Airlines and was supposed to have flown the plane that crashed into the Pentago. yesterday being her sons 7th B'day, she had switched flights with the pilot who acctualy died so that she flew to San Fransico on Monday and would have returned on tuesday for her sons birthday. She was very very close friends with the pilot who diead.

all i have to do is travel 20 minutes down the NJ Turnpike to see the smoking skyline of NYC. sheesh

I feel bad for you and all who are used to seeing the towers. I have only been in the area only once and I was in the air flying to Germany. At the time we were in the area, it was pitch black with night. It was mostly cloudy but here and there you could see the lights of cities.

I remember a long period of being over the ocean and seeing the glassylike surface and the moonlight reflecting from it. I remember seeing the glow of a huge cities lights through the cotton that was the cloud cover.

I was very excited because I was actually in European skies. I NEVER thought that I would ever be there. The dawn was approaching and you could see the rainbow od colors as only that you see at sunrises and sunsets. We touched down in Franfurt, to a partly cloudy sky.

The instant I was out of the plane and walking on the tarmac, I felt as if I was 1,000 years back in time. The air was much cooler than Texas had been when I left. The air was almost as humid.

I left CC,TX at 10:00 am, and it was summertime heat and humidity. Dallas was even worse. Frankfurt was in the mid 60's but humid.

I regret that I never had the chance to visit the WTC, and to go on its observation deck. What a view that must have been.............
