The 320th Infantry Regiment was assigned to the 35th Infantry Division 26 Jan 43, landed Normandy (Omaha Beach) 7 July 44, but was later attached thus:
- 4th Armd Div, 19-24 Sep 44
- 6th Armd Div, 10-18 Jan 45
- 83rd Inf Div, 15-21 Mar 45
- 75th Inf Div, 6-13 Apr 45
- XIX Corps, 13-21 Apr 45
Credited with participation in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe campaigns.

I'll leave it to a Battle of the Bulge expert to speak more directly to December 44.
