Hey - this is totally new stuff to me ! Well spotted, Erich....
And a 'Halifax Appreciation Society', no less ! I've been to Elvington, near York, to see the 'recreation' of 'Friday The Thirteenth' and it's a must for any WWII aviation buff ( they have an early Mosquito nightfighter, too....)

In a word - no ! Or if there is, I have been unable to locate it.
There are quite good individual sites for specific airframes ( eg PA474, NX611, Canadian Warplane Heritage, etc ) but a really good overall site ? Can't find it - certainly nothing like Francis K Mason's Lanc 'bible'.

Oh rats ! I was hoping for something monumental/ Martin, have you heard of the German night fighter forum run by Canadian Greg Kopchuck ? He is part of a pretty good sized RAF and RCAF bomber group ring. I'll have to check for his personal web-site addy and the others soon.

Wasn't aware of that one, Erich.
Let us know if you find something good. I'd assumed that there was no impressive Lancaster site because there are some really comprehensive books available on the type.
The Halifax, of course, has always been overlooked and has now got an enthusastic following of die-hard enthusiasts who are determined to put this state of affairs right - hence the very well-thought-out site...

I've just spent some time searching via various links and can categorically say that there just isn't a comprehensive site devoted to the Lancaster.
There are very good sites covering individual squadrons, Bomber Command, etc etc but if you really want to know about the history of the Lancaster - it's back to the books for you !
