lol, thanks Das, but that is the one map i already have. What i really need is the OoB of the entire ostfront at the onset of Typhoon.

Actually i have a book called "Atlas of Eastern Front Battles" that has detailed maps in it. Ill take a look through it and chack out the web some more. Im sure there is stuff somewhere! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Carl. I am sorry. I don't have a map or the exact divisions, but I hope this helps (if you haven't seen it yet).
* "Thyphoon" started in October 3rd with 69 divisions under field marshall Fedor von Bock:
Heeresgruppe "Mitte" (GFM Von Bock)
IV Panzergruppe (GO Hoeppner)
IV Armee (GFM Von Kluge)

TOT: 15 infantry divisions, 5 Panzer divisions and 2 motorised divisions.
IX Armee (GO Strauss)
III Panzergruppe (GO Hoth)

TOT: 18 infantry divisions, 3 Panzer divisions and 2 motorised divisions.
II Armee (GO Von Weichs)
II Panzergruppe (GO Guderian)

 Maybe a little spot of any kind in his cap? It is too small to be some kind of badge... Or maybe a spot in the photograph...  I am not sure...
