Hello FB, I was wondering if you can tell me about the Italian award called: Medaglia d'Argento?

Also was wondering if you knew where a photo of it is? I could not find it on the site that was posted above. Many thanks if you know where I can go to see a picture of it.

Thankx--Carl

Hi Carl,

Sorry for the delay in my answer.

That would be the Silver Medal. You haven't seen it in the link I gave you, because the database for the military decorations awarded is still uncomplete. At that link, though, you can find the Croce di Guerra (Cross of War) and the Medaglia di Bronzo (Bronze Medal) which are the two lower degrees for military awards in the Army, with the Cross being the lower. Unfortunately I do not know where you can see it, sorry. It should be, I guess, very similar to the Gold and to the Bronze Medals, with silver being the material of which it is made of.

Regards

FB

FB, many thanks for what you were able to tell me. Some of the medals and Orders are designed very nicely and I will probably start on a collecting quest for those now.

Thanks again for your help.
