Friedrich will become famous soon enough
I am working on a project about the German Order of Battle for the invasion. I have some different versions of internet sites and I'm sure you can help me in clarifying these data. Please, help is appreciated.

Army Group 'North'

24 infantry divisions, 3 armoured divisions, 2 motorised divisions.

Army Group 'Centre'

22 infantry divisions, 9 armoured divisions, 6 motorised divisions, 1 cavalry division.

Army Group 'South'

34 infantry divisions, 5 armoured divisions, 3 motorised divisions.

Are these cyphers correct?

Now, I have very different figures about the deployment of those divisions on June 22nd 1941. The version I rely most on is as follows:

Army Group 'North' (Von Leeb)

XVIII Army (Von Küchler)
Infantry divisions: 1st, 58th, 61st, 93rd, 217th, 291st.

XVI Army (Busch)
Armoured divisions: 12th
Motorised divisions: 3rd, 18th, 20th, SS 'Totenkopf'
Infantry divisions: 11th, 12th, 21st, 30th, 32nd, 96th, 121st, 122nd, 123rd, 126th, 290th

IV Armoured Group (Hoeppner)
Armoured divisions: 1st, 6th, 8th
Motorised divisions: 36th
Infantry divisions: 269th, SS 'Polizei' (Is it an infantry division?)

I'll continue later. And I'll really appreciate any help. I need also the Army Corps and which divisions were in each one...

Thank you.

Don't you think Hoth's group was very weak? And the infantry armies had armoured divisions?

Again, the corps would be very appreciated, as well as I don't think the 99th was a motorised division...

Cool

Here are a few of the doubts:

-99th division is not included as infantry, Jäger, motorised nor security division... What was it then?
-1st cavalry division served in Army Group 'South since June 1941 onwards...
-18th motorised division served in Army Group 'Centre' since June 1941 until January 1942.
-29th motorised division served in Army Group 'South' since June 1941 onwards...

And there are missing security divisions 207th, 281st and 285th (part of IV Armoured Group according to other source).

There are missing security divisions 221st, 286th and 403rd (part of III Armoured Group).

And in that other source security divisions 583rd, 584th, 559th and 582nd... which are not mentioned in the Security Divisions Database...

Please, I'm close to lose my mind...
