Cool

Gents,

recently I have been reading about the campaign in North West Europe. The battle for the Scheldt and Rhineland in particular. The books I have focus on the Allied effort. From strategic level down to company level.

I have nothing on these battles from a German perspective; Scheldt, Saar, Hurtgen, Rhineland, Ruhr and after that; the battle for Germany.

Can anyone give me some pointers as to books that deal with these subjects from a German perspective? I know that Guderian (the general's son) wrote a book on the 116th Panzer Div. which at least partly deals with this subject.

Anyone know of other books?

TIA

Stevin

Thanks for that Reddog. This book has been on my wanted-list for a while now. I didn't realize it had much to do with the battles for the Rhineland and Germany. Rereading the description, it must, however.

Anybody any ideas?
