Cool

We´ve been through the changes of the battle of the Atlantic. In 1943 things suddenly changed for U-boats. A lot is due to the development of the radar for planes but does anyone know how much is changed by Admiral Horton? Opinions?

Friedrich will become famous soon enough
I watched a programme the other day on the History Channel about Horton vs. Dönitz.

But even if I don't know much about the British rôle in the battle of the Atlantic, I can tell you that Horton played a key rôle in winning the battle, since he was in charge of diverting convoy routes, fixing, organising them and of course, he transferred escorts hither and thither sending them to the critic spots of the Atlantic. He took a very active part in moving and handling all those ships in the Atlantic, as Dönitz did with his U-boats.
