GEOFFC is an unknown quantity at this point

Lt. James Eric Kendrick (143230) of the RASC died in India on 8th October 1942. He is buried in Kirkee Cemetery. I am having difficulty in finding the unit he was attached to at the time of his death. Can anyone point me in the right direction to discover this info?
