I voted NW Europe. This is purely personal and in no way means that this area is 'more' or 'less' important than any other.
The main reason is simply that this is the area I can visit and walk the battlefields - which seems to give greater immediacy to my research and reading.

I voted for CBI because it is the least well-known to me and my interest has been peaked recently. I guess I need to head to the book store so I can "bone up".

I have always been interested mostly in the Ostfront battles.
The massiveness and fierceness of battles are truly something. Clash of ideologies, Hitler vs Stalin.

Personally, I've always been amazed with the Eastern front. It's what got me onto researching WWII and I just find the battles very interesting, although I will read about any theater or any person that comes my way.

I voted for the Eastern Front 1941-1945, obviously and also for Western Europe 1939-1940, North Africa 1941-1943 and the Mediterranean 1940-1945.
But I like a lot Western Europe 1944-1945, the Pacific 1941-1945, southeast Asia 1941-1945, etc. Complete WWII buff.

NW Europe 44-45. Because it is close to home. I know and can visit the places. And it is easier researchable due to the close proximity of archives...generally speaking....
I have an interest in all theaters, but if I have to pick one, this is it.

I prefer a quiet life, warm climate, fine wine, ace cuisine, cutest tesori, so while the rest of you are elsewhere, I'm very happy with the CMF, Central Mediterranean Force.
