Jaso der paukenschlag is an unknown quantity at this point
Hey everybody,

I have a source here quoting that Bomber Command used two thirds incendiaries and one third HE in the attack on Dresden more so because because the RAF was running low of GP bombs. I have read other pieces arguing that incendiaries were officially intended to make up the majority of the bomb load. Can anyone help me here?

Kind Regards,

Jaso

The RAF did have a shortage of GP bombs at various stages of their offensive, but by early 1945 this was easily made up by supplies of 500lb HE's from the USA.
