i found this on ebay, and i cant exactly identify it... does anybody have ideas?

Probably from a scrapped Leopard tank ; a machine which is not popular with re-enactors anyway as it is well post-WWII.

IMHO the seller is wildly optimistic with price...no wonder it's attracted no bids.
