Hitler and Russian winter 1941-42...everybody just laughs about it, right?

Anyway, definitely not as huge losses for the allied but somehow the "winter problem" is forgotten also here.

Anyone got any figures on the Allied losses due to the cold and wrong clothing? Amputations, frost bites, deaths? It seems that for the US army the problem was bigger??

I think I once read about 10000 cases as a result from the cold weather during the Bulge. I'll have to look through the papers again.
