If there is anyone out there that may have served or have a relative that served in the 6th infantry division in WWII in the Pacific Theater, I would like to get some information from you. I am particularly looking for folks that may have known my grandfather, Lelton H. Pittman. He was a great man and I wish I had gotten to talk to him more about his time in the war while he was with us. Sadly he died in February of 1999. So if I could find someone who knew him and could tell me more about what the 6th infantry went through it would be appreciated.
