Hi - I have been investigating a local site that may not be there for much longer. I have tried trawling the net with no luck. I found a site by accident when I was out out for a walk - it appears to be a fuel depot ( disused ) There are various strange buildings with pipes coming out from all directions and wondered if anyone knows any info about WW2 Fuel depots - possibly US ?

Graham,
I'm not too well up on what was South West Command (British Army), but if it was a wartime site it might be on the Defence of Britain Database, or in the UK Fortifications Club database.
If it's postwar, it might be in Subterranea Britannica.
