So I have an idea...certainly not a new one, but I want to give it a try.
I want to "interview" WWII vets and spouses, to hear their stories and make a collection of them to be shared with anyone who will listen. I want to digitally record their stories, and burn them onto a CD. Take a few pictures of the person(s) being interviewed, maybe get a few pics from WWII to include as well.
Finished product will be a single CD, along with a
"book" of sorts with pictures and a simple biography of the person that the listener can look at/read about while listening to that vets story.
What I want to know is...are WWII vets willing to share their stories with people? My grandpa (a chaplain in WWII) died before I could talk with him about his experiences in the war.
Also...do you think this would be an endevor worthy of doing?
Have to cut this short...the kiddo (4 years old) is being a pain in the butt...!
Thank you for your suggestions/thoughts.
Regards,
Andy Grow
