Question Economy of the Reich

Somebody please direct me to some "recent journal article entries" by historians regarding the economy of the Reich during its twelve years. I'm taking my first graduate level course (History 556 - NAZI Germany). "I" could and would love to argue my "own" points regarding Speer versus Saukel concerning armaments versus labor, respectively, to put the economy on a more equal war footing, but I must have "other" historian's recent writings on the subject. Not very much help from the instructor seems to be forthcoming. Thank you.

You might want to look up authors like: Peukert, Fritzche, Crew, and Benz.

I'm taking a class called Germany 1919 -1939. Wolfgang Benz has a book (i just read) called "A Concise History of the Third Reich". Chapter 6 is about Economic and Social Policy in the Third Reich.

Those other authros i have mentioned (books like 'Germans into Nazis', 'Wiemar Germany') talk about many things including the economic situation both during the Wiemar Republic and Nazi Germany.

I hope those books/authors might help.
