Default yak-3 production

hi guys,

does anyone know of the 4848 yak-3s built overall, how many were built by the end of the war? and did full production start in march or june? thanks

so is it fair to say that about 4,000 Yak-3s were built before the end of the war?

4111 to be exact if the figures from the above site are correct. It also mentions that a few were built in the 1990s for the warbirds scene.

Worth reading as the site's info on other aircraft (the ones that I know more about) is usually very good and dependable.

Same numbers in book Soviet Combat Aircraft of the Second World War by Yefim Gordon and Dmitri Khazanov.

Book says they were first delivered to fighter aviation regiments in june and service tested in Lvov area in june-july
