Re: Question About Patch
Hmm. Looks like the old Strategic Air Command (SAC) emblem. Is this from a US Army uniform?

Re: Question About Patch
I think it looks like one of the WWII era ghost divisions. I'll have to wait until I can get home and go through my book to verify.
Edit...I was thinking of the 46th Div., which was a ghost or phantom division created for Operation Fortitude. The patch looks similar but isn't it quite the same.

Re: Question About Patch
I have a picture from a Luftwaffe squadron (8/St.g 51) that is almost similar : silver fist on red, except that there is no yellow and the sleeve has no chevrons.

Re: Question About Patch
I guessing maybe some type of intel or signal unit.
Any more information on the patch? Do you know when it's from? WWII? Korea? Vietnam? Sometime in between?
By the way, welcome to the forums 82ndJumper! Airborne all the way!
