Hello, wondering if anyone might know where to look for info on a US Spitfire squadron based on Corsica around Christmas 1943/early 1944? I'm trying to flesh out my great uncle's memoirs, who was in RAF air-sea rescue in the Mediterranean.

There were 2 US Fighter Groups ( 6 Squadrons ) using the Spitfire, who were operating in the Med at around that time.
