This documentary film about Willem Sassen shows how a fairly obscure Dutchman became a prominent figure in the post-war Nazi community in Argentina.

He was one of the confidantes of President Péron and his wife Evita and he counted prominent German Reich war criminals among his close friends. He not only succeeded in convincing Adolf Eichmann, who lived under a false name in Argentina, that he should function as his secret ghost writer but he also had a personal relationship with the Auschwitz doctor, Josef Mengele, who lived nearby.
Willem Sassen was eager to make his mark as a journalist, he was even willing to sell his soul in order to achieve this. Sassen broke the promise he made to Eichmann not to publish anything without Eichmann’s permission. He even started collaborating with the Mossad, the Israeli secret service. He also helped the Israeli Secret service in their search for his friend Josef Mengele, who was never caught.
An amazing story of a man who happened to become close friends with two notorious and wanted Nazi war criminals in Buenos Aires and who was prepared to betray them in exchange for money and fame.
