1932 Presidential elections in Germany
Hi, gentlemen! Good to 'see' you after such a long while!
I'm doing some research for my novel, which I'm still working at, even if I decided to re-write it, after changing many things and providing certain twists for the plot.
One of the characters is the personal chauffer, bodyguard and assistant of Adolf Hitler, the head of the Nazi Party. So, chapter I tells the story of this man in the middle of the 1932 Presidential election, and I have little data about it, except the general facts provided by William L. Shirer's The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and Sir Ian Kershaw's Hitler, 1889-1936.
Could anyone provide some of the campaigns figures, speeches (a full English-translation of some Hitler speech[es] would be awesome!), demonstrations, happenings?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 1932 Presidential elections in Germany
Thanks a lot, Ta!
Seems just exactly what I need, but unfortunately I'll have to keep looking on-line. Have no credit cards nor funds right now. But let's see what the sample has! Thanks, again!

Thanks a lot, Squeeth. That may be useful too. I've been wanting to get Evan's book for a while.

What about the many propaganda posters ? Most of them have been digitalized and I have quite a few on my files. If interested, let me know.
