Default strange k98 markings... anybody knows???
hi! I have found a strange marking on a k98 byf 43...it is like a "W" surrounded in the middle by a small letter "p" or "R"....
does anybody know what can it may be??????

it is quite so... p

The best place on the internet for such questions IMHO is the K98 section over at the Curio and Relic Firearm Forum. These guys really know their (K98) stuff !
