Default Lorraine's campaign, 3rd Army Vs erste AOK

I prepare a studie of lorraine's campaign between the early september and end of november.
for this fierce and bloodiest battle of US army in ETO, I search studies or books.
I readed the cole's studies and many other books (Patton at bay, some Kemp's book etc..) but it miss some crucial informations
in particulary :
- supply crisis for september (Pol & ammunitions)and the impact of lack of fuel for motorized units
- moral and behaviour of green unit during hard fighting of october and november
- support of XIXth Tac, I have many problems to find airfield's locations, number of planes available by days (I found number of missions) and the response of shadow luftwaffe.

for germans, the OoB is mighty, units arrived in disorder and began to fight without training or all organic units...if you have a oob almost realistic and complete, I'm (very) interested.
thank for your help and sorry for my poor english

Panzer-Brigades in the West 1944

Hitler had sent commanders that had done well on the Eastern front ( Manteuffel ) to deal with the Lorraine situation. The Germans did have quite a good number of tanks, but probably the wrong tactics ( ostfront tactics ) explain some of the losses. Personally I was surprised that even if the Bulge area was Hitlerīs main offensive area to come, he did send some 600 tanks to the lorraine area where they were practically all lost.

Thatīs another huge number of tanks, that if Hitler had kept them in spare for the Bulge, might have surprised the Allies even more...
