First of all, I want to say it's great to join this forum. I've been looking for one like this for so long, it's amazing I haven't found this until now.

Alright, onto the topic. I need write an essay on this:

"Did the Nazis ultimately fail due to Allied Strength, or internal corruption and political infighting?"

I'm taking the side of corruption and infighting. I thought this would be a pretty easy topic for me to research, which is why I decided to do it. But I haven't been able to find much information at all. I've looked quite a bit online, and my library had nothing about it.

The only thing I've really been able to find information about is the July 20th plot and the Wehrmacht Resistance.

Do any of you have any information or links you could share? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Craig, You'll find in your reading that German's suffer from a mild to severe form of obsessive compulsive disorder and a genetic problem of having to be correct and have every thing in order. This tended to slow them down in production and getting things operational but what was developed usually was astounding in its engineering, see inventions and weapons development.

As far as corruption and redundancy the SS tried to compete and take over the military industrial complex of Germany right down to having camp prisoners making k98s. The Germans were late in going on a total war footing and were absurd in their redundancies, out of Greed, Hitler's paranoia, and too many trying to run the show. It was very much like the mob with several of the dons having their own private army. For example, Goering having a Panzer Division, Goering keeping a tight leash on aircraft, conflicts with the Kreigsmarine. The Abwehr, Canaris, and the conflicts with Himmler regarding SD and Intelligence manangement.

Your topic can definitely be argued and presented.
