Default Found Unknown Photos

In a box of my Dad's pictures, I find photos of young merchant marines that my Dad can't remember names. Is there a place to post them in case they can be recognized by a family member who would cherish them?
These were taken at sea in the 1940's during WWII.
Thanks!

They are probably from SS Alcoa Prospector or SS Natalie O Warren.
Or they could be from SS William Brewster, SS Andrew Marschalk,
SS Carabex Ferry,
SS Sharpsburg or SS Wyoming G Valley.
Somewhere in between 1941 and 1954.

If you find any that has to do with the ships: SS Fort Lee and SS New London, my Grandfather was the Captain of both of those ships (At different times of course ;-)) please let me know. I have a few friends in Germany who would want to know about these Gents.

I am very much interested in the ship photos, especially the Warren. Would it be possible to obtain copies?

Try the North Atlantic Chapter of the Merchant Marines by Googling it. Those guys have damned good info. Also, I know two Gents who wrote books on the subject and I THINK one of them either works there or is a volunteer?
