German aces and hitting the backside...
Just read some part of Peter Düttmann´s book and he says there after reaching some bigger kill figures he was not able to sleep on his back, and lets the reader understand that the whole crew of the air field and other pilots slapped his behind and he manages to say that unfortunately some of them had a hand the size of a shovel....
Does this mean there was a habbit to beat the butt after some "great" results or after reaching KC or something like that...Did all the Luftwaffe units do this and where does it come from? Me, I´m confused....
