HAA regiment royal artillery info needed
hi,
iv'e been researching memebers of my family that died in ww1 and was overwhelmed by the information i found. however when i try to find info about my great grandfather who died in ww2, i am finding it much more dificult.
my great grandfather interests me because he has a war grave located in bilston (west midlands) and died at the age of 42.
(rumour of pneumonia in family)
iv'e tried searchin his regiment but there is a real lack of information.
his details gained from roll of honour and cwgc:

another query is that his regiment was only formed in 40/41, but he joined in 1939 so was it named another regiment??
iv'e got the death registry and it says the death was registered in durham east. i contacted them in the hope of gaining the death certificate but they do that have it and suggested wolvohampton registrty?? i'm soon to try that.
i contacted the royal artillery museum and the only details they could provide was that the regiment was stationed at "tyne" at the month and a couple previous of his death. there was no mention of accidents or deaths during this time. i plan to go there and search there records when i can.(same with sending off for personal records)
anybody have any information or suggestions to look further??
many thanks
lee
