Hello,

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as my researching has come to a halt, I am trying to find out where the US did there training at Stow on the Wold in England?

My reasons are after finding what has been confirmed as a springfield rifle st louis 1943 bullet with a metal detector, then putting that info in google came up with the 212th AFA did there last training in Stow on the Wold before heading out to Europe in 1944 which maybe links the both together?

But thats it? I cannot find anymore? Where could I find more information? Would anymore records exist?

Any help would be great??
