Default I need help with some Nazi armbands...

I desperately need help from someone. I recently received four Nazi armbands for X-mas from my father. One is the regular SA band seen most often. Another is the black totenkopf band. But there is one that i cannot figure out. It is exactly like the Hitler youth band except with a small blue stripe running through the middle. Does anyone know what this is?

Just a guess but, it could be a Sea unit of the Hitler Youth.

I've exhaused my search and have not found any photos or descriptions of this particular armband.

I definitely appreciate the time and effort, guys. I've done hours and hours of searching, so finally I figured I would ask a braintrust of WWII fanatics like myself.

Lightbulb Re: I need help with some Nazi armbands...

I know a H.J collector that lives in Oregon. I'll try calling him tonight and see if he can come here and look and if he knows anything about this armband. I still tend to think that that blus stripe means that whoever had this armband, was in a unit of the Hitler Youth. Sorry I don't know the proper terminology for this H.J. group. I remember seeing a referance to them somewhere but since im not an HJ collector; I only paid scant attention to the item-which was BTW, an Officers cap with a blue band around it. One thing I do remember was that I found the site that had the HJ item for sale by going into the links page of this site: blackcrossmilitary.htm Also, you might try contacting Alden or Janet Hamilton @ BCMC and see if they know anything about this armband. They are pretty good at replying.

I just remembered, I think they are properly called the Marine Hitler Youth ~or~ Hitler Youth Marine.

O well. In that case, can you help me shore up the black band? I mean, I have a general idea about the Totenkopf symbol, but is there anything special I should know about it?
