With 43 kills with NJG 100 was Alois the top nachtjagd pilot in the Eastern Front? ( actually only seven of the kills at night? ).

no he wasn't Kai. Gustav Fransci scored 49 of his 56 kills on the Ost front all with NJG 100. Lechner served in NJG's 2, 5 and then finally in NJG 100 and died or should say MIA in an experimental nf unit with the Ju 88C-6. He had 36 kills on the Ost front from his 45 total.

Skipper they are around just have to look ............ at least 100.00 US when you can find one, mine as in the avatar shown is pretty well used, had a LW NF pilot give me a full run down on the unit which he still used in the 50's and 60's flying for Luftsansa, for the life of me he has never explained to me how to use it.....

and yes I have a ton on NJG 100 since the early 1960's. Lechner had a large array of missions with the 2 units especially with NJG 100 in their early 44 days before he was missing in Feb. 44. He was a rising star on the Ost front and NJG 100 even today is little known.
