Default German war memorials ?

I'm planning a trip to Germany, I wondered if anyone knows if there are German war memorials from World War II?

The excellent '3rd Reich in Ruins' site has a page on German war memorials.
Worryingly the site seems to be down at the moment, so here's a link to the Google cached page, which has no pictures (or they're very slow to load) but you can get some info on locations.:
German War Memorials-cached

& this is the 'proper' URL, which will hopefully come back soon:
German War Memorials

(By the way, That Rammstein version of 'Stripped' in your sig is one of the most bizarre Depeche Mode covers I've ever heard...)

Cheers,
Adam.

There are many smaller memorials near the former airbases. For instance Kassel Rothwesten. They are usually quite modest but nevertheless interesting and worth seeing. Others are to be seen in the many German war cemeteries around the world. List available on the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge site.
