Re: Erhard Milch´s baton?
I try to avoid Irving for obvious reasons, but he has an account of the 'baton-beating' on his site with an extract from what is said to be Milch's diary.
I won't quote or link as it's dripping with bias but it's easily googled.
It is intriguing that it only seems to come up clearly on Irving & Wiki, which immediately casts something of a pall over it. I could see the Brigadier keeping schtumm but I would have expected the story to be more widespread than that, and perhaps verified from elsewhere.
