I am looking for information on the British SAS during ww2 I know a lot about the current
SAS but I would like to learn more about the early SAS any thing you could tell me or something just to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

So many for WW2 where to start is a problem....there have been at least three books on their general history...Warner, Geraghty, Strawson are the three that I can immediately think of....then I'd suggest looking for Phantom Major by a woman who's name excpaes me (Virginia Cowes????) which is about David Stirling who came up with the idea for the SAS in the Western Desert campaign......
