Question Army uniform medal and ribbon question

Am I correct that medals like bronze stars and good conduct were not displayed on a dress uniform, but indicated by the ribbons above the left breast pocket?

Since you guys know the answers to all my questions I'll fire one more......the Combat Infantryman Badge.....is it displayed on the Army dress uniform, yes, or no. If yes, where?
