Default Lapel pin ID ??

Can anyone identify this Army lapel pin? It may have had something to do with training recruits at Ft. McClellan, AB in 1945?
Thanks!

Is there one or two? On both lapels? If so then its whats known as a "DI" or "Distinctive Insignia".
