Default Helmet Identification

I picked up this helmet and I am not 100% sure of what it is. I think it is a WW1 U.S. Helmet but as I am planning on selling it I wanted to get a second opinion on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure but I don't think its is US. The helmet top looks too tall and wrong shape. It looks Swedish or perhaps Portugese. you may want to check out this list of Helmet sites.

According to one of those sites its a British MK2 helmet issued during WW1 with continued use for 25 years. If anyone else wants to comment please do.

Yeah, other than the liner it looks identical. This one has a felt like material inside the top of the helmet. It appears as if this helmet never had any type of suspension just that the helmet and felt rested on your head. I would have thought this meant that it would be older. Opinions?

Also, any idea what this helmet is worth?

I think you're liner just had been removed. worth? I bought mine for 7.5 euro's (no idea how many American dollars that is) but I seen some off those helmets going over 25.
