WWIIinterview is an unknown quantity at this point
Lightbulb ATTENTION WWII VETS!

Hi, my name is Brad and I live in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have always been intereseted in WWII and the brave veterans who fought in the war. I have been asked by my college professor to do an interview with a WWII veteran. However, I do not have any relatives that are veterans. I thought the best and broadest way to find info would be to come to this website with real WWII veterans! If any WWII veteran is interested in answering a few questions, simply reply to this thread! This would help me out greatly and at the same time, your personal views on these topics will become known to others on this forum. The questions are:

1. Who is the veteran and what was he doing during the War years?

2. What is his most important image of Nazism/fascism? (When thinking of the terms Nazism, Fascism, Germany, or Japan, what is the first thing that comes to mind?)

3. What does he believe explains Nazism?

4. Any other information, stories, or feelings about WWII.

My email is bradq888@yahoo.com if any WWII veteran wants to contact me. Thank you for your time! Respectfully, Brad.

P.S. You don't have to be a veteran, just anyone who was living through the war.

This site is a good way to talk with veterans, but I would suggest 2 things, chek out some of the active threads here, like "A sappers tale" and the "Hollandia, Jayapura" thread. There is some great info there, The second thing I would suggest is going to your local coffee shop and looking for someone wearing a "WWII Vet" hat! It has worked for me on many occasions!!

Good luck on your research!

If you use the link above it will take you to many a tale (some will say too bloody many !)

If you manage to get through half of them your Professor should give you an "A plus" for perseverance !

Regards

Ron
