Hello, I have the following picture of a French Navy officer. The picture is from January 19th 1935. So this genteman probably fought the 1939-1940 campaign.
Could someone tell me his rank and identify some of the many medals he has? I was told it was a general but I'm not familiar with the rank system. I know this is a higher rank officer and he is higly decorated. Finding out his name would be even better.
