Question A Mr. Cooper

I know a friend of my dad's last name was Cooper. He was a member of the 186th. Infantry Regiment and was killed in action. I know nothing else of him and would like to know more. I have a copy of the general orders of the 41st Division and it lists 2 Coopers but shows neither KIA. I would like a copy of the general orders of the 186th. but I don't believe they exist....is that correct? Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks!

Default Re: A Mr. Cooper

see if you can find him here, if you know his initials and state from where he joined up. Then you can move to NARA AAD: NARA - AAD - Fielded Search - Electronic Army Serial Number Merged File, ca. 1938 - 1946 (Enlistment Records)

its a start...AMBC site had no Cooper mentioned for 186th.
