Default uniform

I brought this photo on ebay, on a whim, a while back. My knowledge of WW2 isn't great, just a passing interest, so I was wondering if anyone could identify anything from the little bit of the uniform that is showing in the photo?
Just a little bit of extra info, written on the back of the photo is "gefallen in Russland 1944" So unfortunately not a survivor of the war.
many thanks

Uniform is one of Enlisted NCO in the Infantry. It has the white piping. Don't know who the soldier is.

Too bad I can't see the shoulder tabs or any rank hint. Just a regular Wehrmacht soldier to me. Can you read the photographer's name? (do I read Meckelburg?) then his hometown could be that area in Germany.
