Talking Was this a wind-up?

I remember reading in a WW2 magazine years ago (it might have been After the Battle, I can't be sure) that the Nazis had an experimental tv station in Paris after the Fall of France. (No, don't titter missus ). Unsurprisingly it was only localised reception and short-lived.
Now I remember laughing at the time, but ATB aren't known for wind-ups and they don't do an April edition, so has anyone else ever heard of this?

Question Re: Was this a wind-up?

Was it something to do with the work ATB did on 'black propaganda' ; such as Sefton Delmer's studio in the Ashdown Forest....?

I think it was earlier than that, Martin. I'll look the issue out later.
It's a small world though; this afternoon on UKTV History they showed a repeat of Secret Army...featuring the Brussels Gestapo experimenting with tv surveillance around D-Day.
I'll let you know about Saturday's lottery numbers later....
