Default Female Volunteers?

I am trying to identify some uniforms worn by female family members during WWII. I assume that they are part of a type of service organization. Perhaps two different groups since there appear to be two different uniforms.

Can anyone identify which groups they were a part of? What they did? Even suggestions on where to look for more information would be appreciated - I tried searching the forums but I don't have enough key words to be effective.

Many thanks!
